You will just have to burn to CD/DVD and view on a TV to see if it's
acceptable. First there is the resolution difference NTSC DV is 720x480
interlaced, other TV formats may include 640x480 depending on your project
type. So after it changes the resolution and prepares it for your project,
if it's going to end up being viewed on a TV, I wouldn't go by what you see
on your monitor since there will be gamma, color range, and contrast
differences. Which is why I use my Firewire and DV camcorder as a preview
setup to my TV. Then I can see how video and images will look on a normal
TV. Because I used to correct for the best look on my computer monitor, and
then when watching it on TV, the colors were too vivid and often too bright.
If this is a new process for you. I would first do everything from start to
finish and view it on the TV if that is the main final destination. Then if
it looks unacceptable, I would try using Photoshop, MS picture editor, or
other image tool to do the reize to 640x480 or 720x480 before adding them to
your project. Sometimes the WWM sampling is not what you desire.
