I have been sending pictures embedded in emails for quite
some time. Recently (about 2 weeks ago) people are
telling me that the pic I tried to include will not show
up all they get is a box with a red x in it.
All I can think to check is tools > options > send >
sending format I clicked HTML and in the HTML settings I
made sure there was a check in the box to send pics with
messages.
I have tried to send these emails to different people
including myself and all have the same results so I don't
believe it is a mail server limit issue.
I haven't made any other changes to my computer in this
time frame.

Thanks for you help
Joe

Have them check their security settings. Assuming they are using Outlook
Express, they would go to Tools\Options\Security, remove the check from "Do
not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a
virus," click apply and ok.

If they are multiple copies of the same image, a recent patch broke things
so that only the first will show.

Thanks for the replys. I checked the security settings
and they are as suggested. I tried another email with a
pic from my digital camera that I know doesn't have
multiple copies and that didn't work either.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks again
Joe

If those receiving the e-mails have that security setting turned on, it
might block them from seeing the pictures.

What if you send it to yourself?

Clear your temporary Internet files, you may not have enough
available memory. You can increase the size of the cache
file, too.
