Pictures in HTML-mail

I'm gonna use FP2003 for making HTMLinfo-letters and send via Outlook 2003.
The picturese does not show in the e-mail, just a box with a red cross. How
to get
the pic's attached in the right place? When previewing in IE there is no
problem.

You have to have the pictures hosted on a web server, and point to them with
the absolute URL not a relative URL.

i.e. <img src="http://www.whatever.com/images/yourimage.jpg"> not <img
src="../images/yourimage.jpg">

You might also face problems with a email readers than can't read HTML
emails.

The pictures will have to be uploaded to your live web site, and the links
will need to be absolute in your newsletter.

Hi Marlene,

There is a technique for embedding images into the email message stream so that they will appear with the message. However this is
not the forum to go into detail. However the easiest method is by using an email component. Check with your ISP about what
components are installed on the server then review the documentation for each.
