I often receive emails with pictures in the body of the email, not as
attachments. While I can see these pictures, when I forward the emails, the
pictures do not show up, either in the email nor as attachments. My signature
is also a jpeg (a scan of my actual signature) and it doesn't show up either;
rather, it shows as a box titled "first signature" (the file name of the
jpeg). I am sure this is a configuration problem, but I'm not sure what.
Help, please.

Did you leave your Outlook default format at Rich Text? If so, change it to
HTML or plain text.

Tools > Options > Mail Format.

the setting under: tools>options>mail format>message format is html. Is this
the setting you refer to?

That's the correct setting.

Do the pictures show up in the email body in your Sent Items?

Correct, but I was wondering if it was something in my mail settings that was
causing this, or if it is in theirs. I might add that some of them are using
Pegasus for their mail, but others are using outlook or explorer. And they do
not have the same problem with emails received from other senders.
