In older versions i had no problem but i am not able to show pictures in a
form or report, just a link to it.

You'll have to tell us how you stored them in older versions an din your new
version.

Ironically, Access 2007 is slightly better at native specialized image
storage than the older versions.

For 2003 and older, one problem with using OLE fields was exponential bloat
(far more than the image size, which is itself big) . Another was a
deception that it appeared that Access could show you images by just clicking
on the fields etc., but in reality such was dependent on other software in
Office who's presence is unreliable (comes and goes with Office version
etc.). My first guess is that this is your issue.

A solid approach for all version is to store the pictures in a separate
folder, store the location and file names in text fields, and use coder to
display the images in forms and reports.

Totally understand. I am trying to figure out the exact same thing. My 2003
database stores and displays pics wonderfully... but with the upgrade I just
get a link. It is driving me nuts. If I figure it out, will post it to you. A
