Is there anybody so kind to tell me why closely following the intructions
written in the Microsoft Knowledge Base - 148463 for
displaying Images in a Form or in a Report Without Storing the Images in a
Table (http://support.microsoft.com/?id=148463), the pictures are not
displayed?

I built a database concerning the employees data, which contains also a
photo field.

At home I am using Access 2000 and my Operative System is Windows 98SE,
whereas in office we have Access 2002 and Office 2000 Professional.

I have made a lot of trials, without coming to a positive solution. Now, the
matter is became a challenge.

What I do not understand is why the Northwind Database (and also others
databases downloaded form internet) works (images are displayed), both at
home and in office, whereas my applications dont!!

I would be very greatful if anyone can give me an answer to this query,
meanwhile, thanks in advance!!

I thank you for your help. Reading the many treaths in the
newsgroup, I have downloaded your sample database on 27th January 04, but I
am sorry to tell you, that following all the rules, I see no pictures in
your application. I am not the only one that have this problem, also a
friend of mine, in a near by office, has difficult to show photographs in
his Access databases, and we do not know the reason. At first, we thought it
was due to a computer or software setting, but this is not true, because the
Northwind database (in our machines, at home and in factory) displays
pictures, so there is something we do not understand yet.
Anyway, thank you for your time and cooperation, and if you, by chance, have
further ideas
they are welcomed.

Karsten
