Hi I save a lot of pictures to my pictures and then they get sent to display properties backround. my question is how do I stop this from happening cause I don't want to use them for my backround. And the only way is to manually delete them thru select then browse and manually delete them 1 by 1 is there an easier way to delete these pics THNX

By design, all images in your My Pictures folder
will be available in the Desktop Background list.
If you wish to remove your images from this list
all you have to do is move the images to a different
folder.

To move the contents of your My Pictures folder...
open the folder and go to...Edit / Select All...
In your "Picture Tasks" pane...choose "Move the
selected items"...

On your "Move Items" screen...choose or create
a new folder and left click the "Move " button.

I have noticed that if I exceed 100 images in My
Pictures the files no longer show in the Background
list. There may be a way to edit this number but I
don't know how.

If you wish to delete all the images in your My
Pictures folder...open the folder and go to...

Edit / Select All...
File / Delete...

When the dialog box says...

Are you sure you want to send these XX items to
the recycle bin?

Click "Yes".
