pictures don't show up

I am teaching MM to my students. One issue we come across is when I have them
save the project to a different folder, the pictures turn up as red X. What
am I doing wrong here?
 
The Red X's indicate that Movie Maker can't find the clips within the
project.
Do you have them saving the project to a different folder via Movie Maker or
are you moving the files manually with Windows Explorer? Are you moving the
project source files at all?

Right click on one of the red X's and click "Browse for Missing File"
Navigate to the file and select it, the others clips in the project should
fix themselves automatically after that.
 
They work on them in there directory and then I have them save to a different
one for me to view. They import the pictures to movie maker, but the orginal
place saved is on their personal directories and not where the movie ends up
at.
