Hi to all - I'm using MS Outlook on an XP PC and when I send an attachment
(usually jpeg pics or .doc Word files) the recipients are getting them as a
winmail ".dat" file which is just an awful lot of characters and are
completely useless - any idea of why this is happening and what I (or they
?) can do to resolve the problem ?

Many thanks in advance for any help - Jeremy

Don't use Outlook's RTF formatting. Use plain text when sending an
attachment.
