I have made a presentation in PowerPoint 2007. With screenshots
(Windows-key+S of OneNote) I make pictures (some are from excel) and put them
in the presentation. I save this in PPT 97-2003 format.
I wrapped this presentation to a folder by the option "Publish" and
"Package for CD".
If I open this presentaion with "play.bat" on a Office 2000 computer, then I
don't see the pictures, I only see a blue fields. Whats wrong and what can I
do to fix that problem?

If I open the presentation directly in Office2000, then it doesn't work also:
I don't see the pictures, just blue fields.

Sorry to make you jump through hoops, but what happens if you re-open the
file (the 97-2003 format file) in PPT 2007? Are the pictures there?

Tehn, If I re-open the presentation in Office 2007, the pictures are back.

Hmmmmmm. This is strange.

Do you have an original PPTX file, and is it small enough to email? I'd like
to try package for CD here and see if it does any better or if I can repro
the issue.

I thought I might just try it by taking a screenshot using Windows key + S
and pasting onto a PPT 2007 slide, but Windows key + S doesn't take a
screenshot here. Do you have a special screenshot utility you've mapped that
key combination to use for screenshots?

What happens if you open the presentation directly in PowerPoint 2000?

Start PowerPoint and use File, Open to open the presentation
