Pictures are not showing

I insert a picture on my slide but it is not visible. You can see it on the
thumbnail and on the slide show but not on the editing slide. I am using
Office 2003. If I click on the Area where the picture is the dots come up
surrounding it an I can move it while viewing the thumbnail. Any Help!!

Ribbon or no, MS *does* show excellent taste in SOME things.
