I am having a problem with my Internet Explorer that only seems to affect
secure websites, the pictures appear as an X. I have read many article to
no avail. If I right click and go to show picture still nothing happens.
Can anyone help, this is really frustrating!!!

I'm having the same problem. It seems like it's only the .gif images, but I could be wrong. And, yes, it is very frustrating; especially when you receive an email with images you can't see. If anyone has answers please fill us in!!! THANKS!

That's often a pretty good clue that either the image doesn't exist
or is not available for some reason. IOW the Red-X would be valid.
Unfortunately it is not very easy for the end-user to make this determination.

To try to assess the validity further, right-click on the Red-X and choose
Properties, then capture the Address (URL): value. E.g. doubleclick
somewhere within it, press Menu-A, Menu-C then paste it into an
IE Address bar and press Enter. Additionally make sure that you do *not*
have checked (in Options, Advanced tab, Browsing section)
Show friendly HTTP error messages

What happens when you try that? If you see an HTTP error message
you would have your answer.

One more check you should do is check the Privacy Report (Alt-V,v)
and see if there is a Cookie associated with that image and if so,
was the Cookie was rejected? In that case try relaxing your Cookie
rules to see if allowing that Cookie makes the image available.

Good luck
