pictures and Page setup

Hello,

The problem I having is: I often have to give colleagues my presentations
and when they put it on their pc all the pictures are distorted... because of
the difference in page setup properties, they have, of width and height. Is
there a way to keep the proportion of the pictures intact, from presentation
to presentation, and then possibly only having to re-adjust the placement of
the proportionally correct pictures due to the different page setups the user
may have, thus not having to go through each slide to rescale, guessing if
the picture is proportionally correct.

Hi Steph,

what is the difference between your computer or presentations and those of
your colleagues? Which version of PowerPoint do you use, which version do
they use? Which slide size do you use, the standard one or did you change
it? Which monitor proportions do you use, does one of you use 4:3 and the
other 16:9? Do they view your presentations "as is" or do they insert your
slides into their presentations?

Normally the proportions of slides and pictures should stay the same, if the
presentation is only viewed. If you copy slides between presentations with
different slide sizes, distortion is inevitable. You should then open the
two presentations side by side and copy the objects, not the whole slides.
