I understand that I can store photos in My Pictures and then view these as
Slide Show.
But when I put photos in a sub folder under My Pictures I don't see a way to
view them as a Slide Show.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Doug

Right-click your "My Pictures" folder inside My Documents. On the customize
tab, choose "Pictures (Best for Many Files)" and then check the box that says
"Apply to all subfolders." All the other folders under My Pictures should
now include the slideshow option.

When I click on the "My Pictures" folder inside My Documents I don't get a
Customize tab.
Is there a setting wrong or something??

Actually, there is something wrong, but I don't know how to fix it. I had
the same problem and instead of trying to figure out what exactly the problem
was, I made a new folder called "My Pictures 2", moved everything from the
original folder into that one, deleted the original folder, renamed the new
one, and then configured that one how I wanted. I just assumed something in
the original pictures folder was corrupted.

I stand to be corrected but I don't believe that there is a "Customize"
tab on system folders, that would include the "My Pictures" folder.
That behaviour cannot be changed.

Right-click on the My Pictures folder, select Properties and you
should see a Customize tab.

That wasn't what I meant to say.

Right-click on the subfolder under My Pictures, select Properties and
you should see a Customize tab.

Thanks to all.
I've got it going now.
