Picture Tasks copy to CD

Under picture tasks in My Pictures there was an option to copy to CD this
has disappeared last year I did a restoration on the computer and it came
back but it has gone again and I can't restore back to last year anyone else
had this problem.

You need CD writing software such as Nero to copy any files to a CD.

Open 'My Computer' and left click your cd drive and select properties
Under the recording tab make sure 'Enable recording on this device' is
ticked.
Click 'Ok' then re-open your picture folder and the option to copy to CD
should be back.

burning utility would be disabled to prevent conflicts, this is normal. You
would need to use that software to create disks.

Otherwise, check that the imapi burning service is running. Click start/run
or hit the winkey+r and type SERVICES.MSC and click ok. Scroll down to the
Imapi service and double click it. Check that the startup type is set to
automatic and start the service if it is currently in the stopped state.

Another thing to check is that recording is enabled for that drive.Right
click the drive in Windows Explorer (My Computer) and select properties. Go
to the recording tab and make sure the box to enable it is checked.
