hi any input greatfully recieved, i have got my photo's to pc in piture file
off digital camera. when i open picture file it should say in piture task on
left save to cd! BUT it does not no cd there at all and if i right click on
photo and say send to! there is no cdrw in list! the only way i can write cd
is by going to my computer then right click on cdrw drive then it says says
save to disc, i'm a bit of a novice at all this as you can tell. thanks

To get this task back do the following:
Click on Start, click on Run and type the following in the opening textbox:
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
and press the Enter key.
Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI.... and there is also a
period between ..GVW and DLL

This will take a second to run and you should get a "success" message.

See if your CD drive is Enabled for recording with XP.
Right click on your CD drive listed under My Computer.
Click on Properties, a window will open. Click on the Recording tab. Click
on the box "Enable..."

Using Explorer, right-click the folder that contains your pictures. Click
Properties, then click the Customize tab. At the top where it says "What
kind of folder do you want?" click the down arrow and choose Pictures. If
you have subfolders, be sure to check the box to apply this template to all
subfolders.

Now when you open that folder or subfolders of that folder, "Copy all items
to CD" should show up under Picture Tasks at the top left.

If the folder was already set to Pictures, then change it to Documents and
click Apply, then set it back to Pictures. This will sometimes fix it.
