Picture stuck on screen

I am using windows xp pro. I tried to save a web based picture for my screen
and now it's stuck. When I was on the web I right clicked a picture to save
it for wallpaper. Now nothing will change the picture. I can't remove or
resize it. It's only present on the desktop picture and does not show during
any windows activity.

Any suggestions

It sounds like instead of setting it as wallpaper, you set it as a desktop item. Open the Display Properties applet (right click
the desktop and select Properties). Now select the Desktop tab then click the Customize Desktop button. Click the Web tab and look
at the Web pages list. Is there anything other than "My Current Home Page" in there? If so, then you have indeed set the picture
as a desktop item, and can delete it by checking it and clicking Delete (then OK, OK).
