Picture slideshow?

I'm trying to utilize Powerpoint to do a slideshow of
pictures. Basically I want the pictures to fade into one
another, so it is one continuous show. The only way that
I have been able to do it thus far, it ends up that I have
to click twice to get the next picture to load. I'm
looking for a dissolve/wipe type. Is there anyway to do
this or am I wasting my time?

What version? For 2002/3, you could use fades. And then utilise something
like animate after previous. Else, you could have on picture per slide and
use a slide transition?

This sounds like you have assigned a wipe to each picture *AND* to each page/slide.

Probably easiest to assign a wipe just to each slide/page.

View > Slidesorter
Edit > Select all
Slideshow menu > slide transition
Assign whatever wipe you like...
