Is there a good site somewhere that I can use pictures for wallpaper on my
pc. I'm really interested in animal pics specially tigers. Tried searching
but can't find what I want, sorry if it's the wrong place to ask.

Although there are many sites devoted to wallpaper images, I've found
many of them are riddled with advertising, pop-up ads, and other
annoyances.

I like to go to Google, select the "Images" tab, then under advanced
search options you could put in "tiger" and specify an image size of
1024 x 768 (or whatever) ... chances are you'll find some good ones.

Try this . It has a free version that limits you to 5 downloads a day. It
has some great tigers on it. I have a fantastic white tiger on mine..
 
ATTN: I checked out the site I sent. BEWARE! Junk loaded.
There are
all types of junk you must uncheck. I was going to try the
white tiger
with the sound... but it's a no-go! Perhaps WinMedia is just
junk! Whatever it was, I had to uninstall, delete, run
spy-bot, Ad-aware 6, and a
registry cleaner. Sorry about that. Maybe it will be ok for
you, but definitely not my cup of tea. I have a suggestion
you may like to try. There is a ng with Original photos which
are beautiful but NOT for commerical use. Several of the
posters have websites. That ng is
alt.binaries.photos.original. Also perhaps when you find a
picture you like, you could save it to your documents or photo
file, then click Start/Settings/Control Panel ... then click
on the Display Icon .. then
click on the Background tab... and press Browse and load the
photo you want from the file you saved it to, or from your zip
dirve, floppy, CD, etc. I find this a safer method than
downloading from websites. ALL downloading
must be done with discretion. I apologize for the prior
message. I was trying to be helpful and since I don't use
screen-savers (maybe the bouncing flowerbox that comes with
the OS) or backgrounds I wasn't aware of the problems
associated with the site I sent.

i put some in 'wallpaper' and 'javalab' sections.
animals are mostly dogs, a few birds too.

I recently went to Amersfoort (That's in the Netherlands) I took some
pictures of a white tiger and her young... Photo's are all 800x600 pixels,
but if you want a larger one just send an e-mail to
jeroen(dot)de(dot)bruijn(at)gmx(dot)net
(replace the (dot) with . and the (at) with @ )

I liked your pictures very much. Thanks for everyone else helping me find
some nice animal pic sites .
