This kind of problem has not been posted here before, as far as I know. Not
quite sure what the problem is or a solution for it. I do suspect something,
but before trying my suggestion below, try this.
Place your mouse pointer over the name or thumbnail of a photo file. When
you do this a textbox will open and list a variety of items about the file.
The first item listed should be Dimensions in pixels. Do you see this? If
you don't I think you can repair your missing tab.
Click on Start, click on Run and type the following in the opening textbox:
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
and press the Enter key.
Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI...
This should bring back your tab. Let us know if this works or not.
Absolutely no harm to your computer in running this.

Thank you so mutch.
it works now i can see the "summary" tab.
can you please explain me the problem?

XP has a lot of automated functions "under the hood". For photo files (.jpg,
..tif, .bmp), when it recognizes one of these extensions it offers a variety
of things, such as the summary tab to read the EXIF file of a .jpg file,
etc.
How this association was lost is impossible to say. However, it is easy to
repair. Just keep this command handy to repair any loss in the future.
