I'm running FP2000. When I add a jpeg image to my website, I am first
compressing it using graphics software, then importing it into FP. When I
open the "Picture Properties" window on an image, it shows a JPEG quality
level of 75. Does that mean that FP is compressing my image further, even if
I imported it? If yes, is there a way to change the default for that setting
to zero or 1 or whatever? Thanks for your help.

FP will always show the default at 75, however unless you let FP save the image, it is not being
touched by FP.
