Hi: I use Word 2003. When I go to insert object/Microsoft work picture,
everything works fine. The new work window opens ok. The image is there at
the right resolution. But when I add an arrow or call out box or any
writing below the image and close the window, the image gets really big. If
I don't add anything like a call out, it's fine. Any ideas? Wayne

Hi Wayne,

Is there a particular feature you're looking
to achieve using Insert=>Object=>Microsoft Word Picture
rather than using Insert=>Picture=>New Drawing?

I'm not clear on the exact steps you're following
when you mention adding 'writing below the image'
as that would be in a text box/shape. I couldn't
reproduce this in a new blank document using graphics
and autoshapes. Are the zoom values when working in
your Word document and in the Word picture the same?
