How do you get the picture to appear with your name on the start menu? i
have gone under user accounts and I am the administator but when I open up
the start menu all I see is the name>

You cannot have a picture on your Start Menu if you use the Classic Start
Menu.

Switch to the XP Start Menu.

*And* you cannot have a picture if you have the Welcome Screen turned off.
The Start Menu and Welcome Screen use the same picture.

To turn the Welcome screen on...
Open User Accounts in Control Panel.
Click Change the way users log on or off.
Select the Use the Welcome screen check box.
Click the Apply Options button

Is there any way to keep the picture if I change themes, for example, using a
theme off Themes Unlimited?

I have never heard of Themes Unlimited.

Ask them.

I honestly know nothing about their themes or what they modify or maybe
butcher.

I visited their website and see that they have XP BootScreens. One of the
ways of changing Boot Screens is to modify (screw up) ntoskrnl.exe as an
example of butcher.

Do you know anything about Vista? I changed the picture on my administrator
account and it updates on the welcome screen, but won't change on the start
menu.
