Picture not going out in receiver inbox

Does anyone have this problem? I created an e-mail with an image, when I send
the e-mail. The e-mail goes to the receiver inbox without the image or
picture. Anyone experience this and what was your solution. Please help

Tools | Options | Send | Mail Sending Format | HTML Settings. Check: Send
pictures with messages.

Pictures must be saved to your HDD first and then either Inserted or
Attached. You cannot, for example, copy a picture from a Website and paste
it in a message. You will see it, until you send it.

You may get them, but I guarantee if you send it to 20 people with 20
different e-mail clients and 20 different servers, the results will not be
quite the same for all of them.

Here are 2 things to try:

1) Pick an image on the web. Just hover your mouse
over it. Right-click->Copy. Paste into WM email.
(Setup for HTML, etc). Send it to yourself.

2) Pick an image on the web. Highlight with your mouse.

Both work in WM. Images will be received.

Perhaps they changed something since OE. I never had Vista and only
recently started using WinMail in Win7 for news only. XP & OE until a few
months ago. (Still going).

I will take you at your word that this is not an issue with WinMail.

There is no requirement to post private e-mail addresses on the public MS
Awardee site, so I choose not to. I wouldn't even have a clue to look for
your MVP profile since you don't provide a searchable name.

I've done it for quite some time without problems
across various emails around the world.

Granted the number of clients didn't number 20.
But if you have some particular client or webmail
in mind, please try it. I'd be interested in further
research.

You can see the image actually embeds rather
than being hotlinked in the code. OE used to
hotlink when you highlighted an image.

(I would have emailed you but your email wasn't
at MVP page)
ps (neither is mine listed there).

There was some sort of trick someone posted that works in WinMail that lets
you copy and paste into images under certain circumstances, but I don't
remember the specifics of when it does work or doesn't and don't remember if
it works in OE in XP SP3 or not.
