Picture It! Printing Problem

I'm writing on behalf of a friend of mine with Picture It! 5. He has a
relatively new PC with 1gb of ram. Frequently when he tries to print 8
pictures on one page, he gets a "not enough memory" error message. It's not
constant; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I realize he could try
doing smaler pcitures with a lower resolution, but I'm curious if there are
any other known issues here. Since the PC has 1gb of RAM and there aren't
really any other significant programs running in the background, I was
curious as to why he'd have this problem.

Are 8 hi-res pictures just too much? Does he need evem more RAM? Anything
else to consider?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a resource issue.

Try closing all programs before opening
PI2001, especially virus scanners.

Try opening fewer files in PI2001.

Save your files and try closing and reopening
PI2001 to clear the undo stack after editing.

A hard drive that is at least 50% free is
more efficient.

Make sure you are using the most current
Win XP driver for your printer.

It may help to increase the size of your virtual
memory paging file, the following article explains

Also, regular maintenance is important:

Running Disk Cleanup, Error Checking and
