The version you have...PIPP2001, had more
content in the artwork / pre-formatted projects
category than any version before or since. It
had seven disks...the next largest was 2002
with five disks. Digital Image Suite 2006
which includes Digital Image 2006 Editor and
Digital Image 2006 Library has two disks.
However, the program still allows you to be
very creative with greeting cards, business
cards, collages, album pages, etc, etc...just
as it always has. And...it is the successor to
the Picture It! line. If you have .php projects
created with PIPP2001, they are compatible
with DIS2006.

And BTW, you do not have to uninstall 2001
when you install 2006...you can run both
separately.
There is a 60 day trial version you can try if
you are interested.
Microsoft Digital Image Starter Edition 2006
is a downloadable 60 day trial version with
much of the functionality of MS Digital Image
Suite 2006.
Once your 60 day trial period has ended, the
program will de-feature to minimal functionality.
Unlike the retail version...the trial does not
have the ability to create VCDs and does
not support RAW files.
