Dear Group:
I don't remember where or how I loaded this program into my laptop but I
have been liking and using it for 2 years. I was getting warnings that I had
low disk space in C:\ (even after additional memory upgrade chips installed
and a general housecleaning event) and tried to move the program to my new
External drive to free the 500mb of space it occupies, a simple task with XP
Home.
Picture it! would not load or function from the external source when
summoned and I don't understand why. I still have the original installation
in my laptop taking up space. Microsoft's On Line page will not load even
with my valid Passport sign-in that I could ask Bill's Techies directly for
a solution and that's caused me to ask any of you who are willliing and
interested for some advice as to how to succeed in my wishes!

Picture It! cannot simply be *moved* from one
drive to another. It would have to be installed
on the new drive from the original media. Also
there are certain files that must be installed on
your system disk regardless of where the program
is installed.

The following article explains how to uninstall
PI2002 but of course...if you do not have the
original media you cannot reinstall it.

(314754) PIP: Start Error Message Involving
the Mhputil6.dll File or the Mhputil7.dll File
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=314754

If this was OEM software you may be able to
acquire media from your computer mfg. Or
possibly it was included in Works Suite.
