Questioning XP Contents

Can anyone tell me in Windows XP Pro is supposed to
contain Picture It! 7.
When I order a new computer last year with windows xp pro
on, I definitely had it and used it.
This last month, thanks to Dell, I ended up re-installing
windows. It seems there is a lot missing from the re-
install disk. Particularly Picture It 7.
Should it be there, or did I get a break in the beginning.
 
It has never been part of XP which is an operating system and PictureIt is
an application usually part of WorksSuite although some manufacturers
bundle this kind of software with their machines for a selling point. If
Dell included it you should be able to find it on the CD's that you
received and reinstall it.

Hi

Windows XP doesn't include PictureIt! You have to order that application
separately. If you did so with your new PC, then you should have been
supplied with a PictureIt! CD so that it can be re-installed at a later
late.

Unfortunately there is more to the story here. The
reinstallation disks that Dell originally supplied were
not working correctly and they lacked so many applications
that Dell agreed to furnish me a disk that was to contain
everything that was on my machine when I received it. I
believe it is a "clone." Well, they did provid me with 3
reinstallation disks and most things are better. However,
when I reinstalled with the first poor disk, I had Picture
It 7. When I reinstall now with the 3 disks, no Picture
It!. I may be just stuck????
 
Have you been back to Dell about it, if it was supplied originally and
they have failed to include it this time.

Then Dell bundled it with the package they sold you.

You should contact Dell and ask them how to get it back.
