Can I create .gif animations with Picture It 10 premium? If so could you tell
me how. I could not find it in the help files.

Thanks John, I remember you saying that feature was there, but couldn't
remember what it was called. When I opened the program up a message came up
that I can upgrade my version to The Suite for $85 the link took me to the
Microsoft site. Or I can get Encarta, Money and Suite for $99. You know
anything about that?

You're welcome.

I'm not aware of the offer you describe but
if it's referring to...Microsoft Works Suite 2005...
that includes the same Picture It! Premium 10
you have now.

If you are interested in Digital Image Suite 10,
Sam's Club has a good deal on it:

Costco is even better:

No I allready have the Works Suite installed. I bought a new computer and
Picture It Premium was installed on the computer. I have only looked at it a
couple of times. Today when I remembered that you had mentioned there is a
funtion in Picture It to make the .gif animations (I had asked you before but
I only had Picture It SE on my old computer). That is when a window popped up
asking me if I wanted to upgrade to Suite etc. When I clicked on the link it
took me to the Microsoft site for:
http://www.microsoft.com/products/imaging/default.mspx
And there was an offer for the other products as well. That is why I thought
it was a pretty good deal. I do a lot of photo's am looking for a good
editing program. Using Arcsoft 5.5 now but it seems that a lot of people on
this forum like the Digital Image Suite. Thanks John for your reply.

Digital Image Pro 10 is very similar to
Picture It! Premium 10...the exception
being that DIP10 has more tools and
graphics. And if you purchase the Suite...
you also get the Digital Image Library
which is nice if you plan to archive your
collection of image files.

Here's a comparison:

And you can download and read a .pdf
copy of the DIS10 manual if you wish:

the.pdf files to your desktop...
Right click / Save Target As...)

Thanks again John

After you've had time to give DIS10
a test drive.....let us know if you think
it was worth the upgrade.
