Picture issues

My new PC is built but cannot get any pics on the site.
Have a HP M407 and have downloaded to my Pictures but when i try to make them appear in a thread i just get a address but no pics please help as i need to show it off coz you guys help me choose it ?

do you use the attatchment manager?? if that doesnt work why dont you sign up for some free hosting and link to that

if you have them hosted put

at the end with no spaces between them

or are you trying to attatch them ?

As Me__2001 said. You got them hosted or are you trying to attach them via the forums's upload manager?

What file extension do they have? (for instance, jpg, bmp, etc)

1 Take Photograph
2 connect camera to PC via USB
3 Download Via Microsoft Scanner and camera wizard
4 Name the group of Pics
5 Save in My Pics

then i copy and paste to thread with wording but the pic doesn`t show !!!

Ahhh, I see... you can't jsut copy and paste I'm afraid - you need to attach them to the post.

After you've clicked "Post Reply", scroll down and click on the "manage attachments" button - this allows you to upload images to the site so others can view them

Resize in photo express or whatever and save it

There is a file size limit incase people try to upload really large files. Try using something like this and save as a JPG, it will make the files much smaller

Ideally the file size should be no bigger than 150Kb and ideal resolution 1024x768, Any program that you use should help you resize the pictures.
