My system is Windows XP and I'm using PowerPoint 2000.
I've not used this program before but am trying to
develop a presentation containing only pictures. When I
import a picture from My Pictures, it does not fill the
entire screen. Is there a method by which I can
accomplish this? The pictures I'm using are stored as
8x10s. Thank you. David Wilson

If your pictures are 8 x 10 you will need to click "File", "Page Setup" and
change your presentation to "Portrait", then on each slide click the
"Format" menu, select "Background", click the dropdown arrow, click "Fill
Effects", click the "Picture" TAB, browse to your file and insert it. This
way it is not am image on your slide, but your slide background. In
reality, it is as much work as sizing your image, but whatever works best
for ya!

Thanks for the assistance. I haven't tried it as yet.
You mentioned sizing your image. I don't have any
knowledge of this either. Could you please provide some
additional info. Thanks. David Wilson

I was referring to your need to have to click the corner anchor to size your
image on your slide. Inserting it as the background of your slide prevents
having to do it, but you must have the right orientation (slide - to -
picture image) or it will "skew".

Hello David,

You can accomplish this using the Photo Album add-in for PowerPoint 2000
available for download from Office Online web site at:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=55D24B47-C828-4141-
A8DE-9A459C63DB1A&displaylang=en

Use the option in this add-in to insert multiple images simultaneously and
have them fit the entire slide area.
