You can add more than one transition between clips by expanding the timeline, cut before or after the first inserted transition. You now have a new place to put in anothere transition. You can do this at-will as many times as you want. Just keep cutting before or after the transition on the fully or near fully expanded timeline

On the fiddler sample, the background clip is just the usual one. Th
smaller inset clip was zoomed out of, using Virtual Dub, and the resultan
frame around it was made a single color so it could he set to bein
transparent. Then the clip was overlapped with the first one... about a 99
overlap so they are essentially playing at the same time. The zoomed ou
smaller one was in the middle of the monitor, so I used the Pixelan pan/zoo
effects to move it to and along the bottom
