picture appears on screen when logging out

When I log out or switch users a picture appears momemtarily on the screen.
I can't find the picture to remove it and prevent it from appearing on the
monitor.
 
It's not the small photo icon that is associated with each user account. It's
a picture that someone downloaded.
I click log out or switch user from the start menu after the user logs out
and before the main login screen appears this picture takes up the entire
screen for a couple of seconds.
I am hoping that someone knows which folder this image might be saved?

This could be the wallpaper. Right-click on Desktop, choose Properties and
you should be able to locate it.
