Chris

The following are my current memory specs:

Total Physical Memory 62.43 MB
Available Physical Memory 200.00 KB
Total Virtual Memory 2.00 GB
Available Virtual Memory 1.85 GB
Page File Space 1.94 GB

The capacity on my C: drive is 27.9 GB and only 7.26 GB
has been currently used.

My computer is extremely slow, and from what I can tell,
the issue is with my available physical memory.

Does anyone know how I can increase my available physical
memory???

Thanks

Greetings --

Increasing physical memory is accomplished by purchasing and
installing more and/or larger RAM modules. Consult the computer's
manual (or manufacturer's web site) about upgrading the amount of RAM
installed. 64 Mb is _not_ enough to provide decent performance with
Win2K, which can handle up to 4 Gb of RAM.

win2k pro can only effectively use 3GB, as it does not support the /3GB
switch in the boot.ini. while you can install 4GB, you wont see any gain for
applications, because of the way that the memory manager handles that
application and OS mappable memory spaces.
