In earlier Windows versions I could find the physical
address of adapters by running "winipcfg". This doesn't
work in XP and I need the physical address of my network
adaptors to run a secure wireless network with my Netgear
Wireless network. Anyone know how to access this
information in XP?

Find your icon for the connected network adapter, then Right Click and
select the Status option. From there click the Support Tab at the top of
that window, and then click the Details button. The Physical Address (MAC)
will be listed for you.

If you want a command line way to do this, just type ipconfig /all in the
Run box from the Windows Start button.

it is now part of the "Support tab"

Go to Network Connections folder and double click a connection. On the
status manager UI select the support tab.
