I had MGI Photosuite3se installed and have tried to
uninstall. PS3 has only been partly removed via control
panel but the uninstall.exe from MGI CD cannot be
accessed (faulty C.D.?) All pictures/photos now default to
MGIPSIII.jpg and cannot be opened with Photodraw or Adobe
Photoshop. How can I get rid of MGI remnants please?

I don't know how to get rid of the remnants.
However, you should be able to switch to the software you want to open the
photos.
Right click on one of the photo.
Click on Open with on the opening menu.
Click on Choose Program on the opening list.
On the opening list, change from MGI to PhotoDraw or Photoshop and check the
box "Always open..."

Thanks for replying. Problem is that Photoshop will not
recognise many of the files. The other problem is that
every .jpg file on my hard disk - including op. system
are designated MGIPSIII_.jpg
