Hi there,
When attempting to install Photostory 3 on XP Sp2, it shows the welcome
screen, next asks to agree to license, asks for the "Install to..." folder
to use, begins installation after clicking 'Install' and then states "Wizard
Completed. The Wizard was interrupted before Photo Story 3 for Windows could
be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete
installation at another time, please run setup again."
Any ideas? I have already gone through the validation process.
TIA,
Kim.

Try downloading the file to your desktop
and install from there.

Do you receive an error message? What
is it?

Does your system meet or exceed the
recommended system requirements?

Try restarting your computer in Safe
mode and try to install from your desktop.

Thanks John - requirements met - yes. I tried to install in safe mode but am
told that installer not available in safe mode.
Just about given up.
Cheers,
Kim.

Sorry, I guess safe mode was a bad idea.

The following article may offer some ideas but
I am not certain that it applies to your issue:

Thanks for your assistance John,

Not sure why the installer got confused, however, unreg/registering seems to
have fixed it:

- msiexec /unregister
- msiexec /regserver

Photostory now installed and working.
Cheers,
Kim.
