Hi, When I narrate my slides in Photostory 3, the program asks in a popup
"Do you want Photo Story to change the audio settings so that you can record
using the microphone?"

If I click "Yes" the internal microhone does not work and I have to dig
deep into the control panel into Speech settings to bring it back.
If I click "No" the internal microphone works, however the popup will
continue to ask me the same question every time I narrate.

I work in a school and aksing students to click "No" every time is not a
viable options.. especially for our little ones.

Does anyone know how to fix this so the program detects the internal
microphone when you click "yes"?

Thank you so much for your expertise. I have been looking for days for an
answer and hope this forum will help me.

Probably not much help by my XP
system has an external microphone
and PhotoStory 3 detects it right away
with no pop-up.

I guess you tried clicking the Configure
Microphone button on the Narrate screen?

I also work at a school and this is also happening. We did test our
microphone setting as suggested, but we still get the popup each time we try
to record. Any other suggestions?
