Is there a way to have photo thumbnails that can be scrolled (controlled)
across the bottom of a slide, and when selected they enlarge on the same
slide? Any suggestions?

You'd could fake it to make the photo appear to be enlarging. Here's how:

1. Create the slide with your thumbnails (Slide 1).
2. Duplicate Slide 1 to create Slide 2. Enlarge the appropriate photo on
slide 2. Create an action button with a link back to slide 1. Hide Slide 2.
3. On Slide 1, select the thumbnail that corresponds with the enlarged image
on slide 2. Apply action settings to thumbnail to link to Slide 2.

Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for all thumbnails.

As Sandy says a series of slides is the way to go even though it can be done
on one slide with triggered animations (a very messy slide)

If you scroll down on this page theres a tutorial on zooming in which while
not exactly what you want will give you the idea.

Scrolling the thumbs is a whole different ball game and I think you will
need vba or maybe some very complex motion paths

Did that answer the question / help?

Thanks for the help, worked really well. I occasionally get a glitch where
the screen flickes to black then the slide will change.
