I am able to burn all my photos to a DVD, but it will only play on a
computer. Is it possible to burn a DVD which will play back on a TV? I
would like to be able to take the DVD to relatives and show the photos on TV
using their DVD player.

That depends on the stand-alone player and the software on your computer.
I have a Philips DVD player that will play both jpeg images and Kodak
Photo-CDs.

To make a DVD compliant PhotoCD, I use a program called CompuPic Pro.

Otherwise, if the photos are saved as JPEG images, then the Philips player
will play them as a
continuous slide show.

I make DVDs using Roxio Easy Creator. For some reason, I can't get a Roxio
made DVD-RW to play but just a plain DVD-R works fine. I have used demo
software from other providers that create a DVD-RW that works, but somehow
Roxio doesn't.

One thing you may not be happy with, is that the edges of the pictures get
cropped off when shown on the TV. I tried about six different software
packages and never was successful in removing the cropping. It has something
to do with how the TV scans the picture. If you are happy with the picture
minus about 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch off of each side (on a 27" TV screen), then
you will be OK.

Yes, but first you must have a player for the TV that can read the type of
DVD you are using. Fpr example, not all players can read from a DVD+-RW
because they don't have the correct kind of laser beam.
