the picture replaced by a psd logo and will not display ? saying

info bytes still show as being there. please save me someone before
the wife kills me for loosing her crufts photos. ;0) cheers dave.

Open Windows Explorer and choose Tools, Folder Options, File Types. Find
the file extension for your photos and click change. Choose the program you
want them to open with and click ok.

Well, Dave, I'm not sure what (if anything) this has to do with FrontPage,
but if these pictures are .psd files, you need some version of Adobe
Photoshop installed on your system.

yes i have got a version of Adobe
Photoshop installed but images will not display in this either?

Not IE. Windows Explorer. Start, Programs, Accessories, Windows Explorer.
Or you can open it from My Computer. Or you can hold down the little
"windows" key on your keyboard (the wavy windows icon) and press E

More than likely, when you installed PhotoShop it hijacked the file
extensions and associated them with that program. You need to go into
Windows Explorer and fix the file associations.

You need to CHANGE the program that it opens with. What is the File
Extension on the photos? Do they have a PSD extension? If they do then you
need PhotoShop. If they have a .GIF, .JPG extension and the only problem is
with the icon you're seeing then you need to go to Tools, Folder Options (In
WINDOWS EXPLORER) and click File Type tab, Scroll down until you see the
same extension that the photos have (ex: .JPG) and click CHANGE to change
what program the open with. Choose an Image program
