Have to admit I'm clueless. I have some old photos burned onto a CD and
would like to install on HP notebook. Using Windows XP SP2. According to OS
info, I have HP Image Zone Plus, is this sufficient. What will happen once I
pop CD in? And where do I save it to? Using a Canon Pixma ip1600 photo
printer. Is the scanner in there? Do I need one?

Try the following steps and let us know the result:

1) Create a New Folder on your desktop.
(Right click a blank space on your desktop
and choose...New / Folder)

2) With the disk in your CD drive...go to...
My Computer....

3) Right click the drive letter that represents
the CD Drive...from the menu...choose
"Explore"

4) A window should open that shows the
contents of the disk...right click the folder/s
and from the menu...choose "Copy"...
(if there are several folders...go to...Edit /
Select All...and then...right click the group
and from the menu...choose copy)

5) Now...right click your New Folder...and
from the menu...choose Paste.

This should copy everything on the CD to
your new folder...now you should be able
to open the new folder and find your images.
