Maybe the following info will get you started:

1) Create a New Folder on your desktop.
(Right click a blank space on your desktop
and choose...New / Folder)

2) With the disk in your CD drive...go to...
My Computer....

3) Right click the drive letter that represents
the CD Drive...from the menu...choose
"Explore"

4) A window should open that shows the
contents of the disk...right click the folder/s
and from the menu...choose "Copy"...
(if there are several folders...go to...Edit /
Select All...and then...right click the group
and from the menu...choose copy)

5) Now...right click your New Folder...and
from the menu...choose Paste.

This should copy everything on the CD to
your new folder...now you should be able
to open the new folder and find your images.

How to ask a newsgroup question:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375

Here is what appeared when I did what was suggested;
when the disc went to the "D" drive, and I opened, the following folders
were there:
CDI
MPEGAV
VCD--when I clicked to open this folder, the following appeared;
Entries-Lot-Info-PSD--when I then tried to open one of those, I got this
message:
Media Player does not support, blah, blah, blah
KARAOKE
EXT
SEGMENT
CDDA
*I took both cd's I have to a local puter store, and they opened when the
manager tried for me..Is there some program I am supposed to have downloaded
first?

could you ask the store what software was used to view the photos?
I have used several photo editing programs in past years and when I came
across a folder on a cd that had been saved by using a particular program, I
must use the same program to open those files because they were saved as a
file type that is particular to only that program.
I hope this helps.

PSD files are Photoshop files. If you don't have Photoshop of some
kind you won't see your files as pictures when you select Thumnails.
Tehre are all kinds of convertes if you don't want to buy Photoshop.
just do a google for:
convert *.psd to *.jpg
If they came from a camera store this way, shame on them. They should
be *.jpg
good Luck,
Peter
