Photos Not Appearing in Video

Alright, so I'm making a movie for history class, with video, title cards and
pictures, however, the photos I've imported into Movie maker and have placed
within the storyboard are not showing up. I've saved the photos to my
desktop, and have not moved them, so I can't for the life of me figure out
why when I play the movie back, the photos don't show up (everything else
does). Any way to solve this problem?

Sometimes it can be a simple matter of
saving the images in a different format.
Movie Maker likes Windows Bitmap
[.bmp files].

I did try changing the file format, and switched from JPEG to .bmp as well as
trying .png. Neither worked.

Ok...maybe you should tell us what else you tried.

For example...
If you reduce your Graphics Hardware Acceleration
as per the instructions in the following article and
realize an improvement, it's an indication that you
need to update your video driver:

Just wondering how you converted
the JPEGs to the other formats?

That's all I've tried, since its all I knew how to try.

Anyways, I reduced the Graphics Hardware Acceleration and found there to be
no difference, so I suppose that means my video driver is fine.

I used Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8, and saved the JPEG files as .bmp.

Thanks for helping me out so much, I'm quite the computer dunce.

There's always a possibility that your video
driver needs an update but if reducing the
acceleration did not make an improvement
it's probably not the cause of this issue.

Okay...that should do it.

You're welcome...

At this point I'm not sure what else to try...

I'm wondering if some routine maintenance

Alright, I'll try those suggestions out. I'm going over to my friend's house
today, so I've decided to work on the project there, just so I get it done.
Thanks again for the help, xD.
