Photo's in email

A friend recently sent me a photo in email. The photo was not an attachment
but actually part of the email. In other words, text was on the top and the
picture was automatically displayed in the email. How did he do that?

He used HTML email, and inserted the pic by going to Insert, Picture....,
and selecting the pic.

Your friend may also have his email set that way. You
too can do that.
Open Outlook, click on View on the top, and then to
Layout. Here you can decide to have the Preview Pane
appear in the bottom Outlook. I have found that the
attached pictures will also appear without having to
click an attachment icon.
