Hi - I am very frustrated! After carefully arranging my photos in my folder
for a slideshow, I closed "My computer" to go do something else. When I
reopened the folder the pictures were all rearranged. Can somebody help me
quickly to figure out how to do this so it won't rearrange? And will the
same thing happen when I copy to a disk? Thanks

What did you use or do to arrange the photos before you closed 'My
Computer'?
What is the name of the folder where these photos are located?

My Documents - Scanned Photos - Slideshow.
I arranged the photos by dragging and dropping in the place where I wanted
them. I have checked and unchecked in the "Arrange icons by" the
"AutoArrange" choice. I've tried it with "arrange on a grid". Sometimes
that works, but when you move pics it leaves holes. I'm then planning on
burning to a cd or dvd, or importing to Powerpoint - which is cumbersome.
I'll appreciate any help.

You can use Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder which is very powerful
and very popular now, many friends and I like it very much. It's very
easy to create a customized DVD slideshow with photos and videos, and
to add music, transitions, and cool pan/zoom effects and make
beautiful DVD menus. Also, you can create .mp4, .wmv, .avi, .3gp
movies from videos in other formats for our iPod, Zune and 3GP Cell
Phones, Youtube .etc.

To be important, it has great photo and video editing function that
can meet all our needs. For example, you can perfect your photos with
attractive frames, special mask effects, and rich Cliparts, Wordarts
or Text. And it is easy to crop music to sync with slideshow. You can
use the video edit function to trim the video, add the caption and
frame to the video, and change the original audio with your favorite
music, etc.

You can download it free here

Thank you! That was brilliant. Haven't downloaded Picasa, but it works
great with XP. Really appreciate it.
