i'm asking for a friend of mine. he put some pictures onto his computer last
night. he went to "my pictures", and made a sub folder for them. well, now
they're gone. we tried doing a search for the pictures and the folder, but
nothing. he still has one of the pictures as his background, but when he
goes to check out the background info it says he doesn't have a background.
does anyone know how he can get the photos back. he no longer has them on
his camera. thanks in advance.

Sounds like he may have viewed the
images on the memory card but did
not actually download them to his hard
drive.

There's a slight possibility that he may
be able to retrieve them from his TIF
folder.

C:\Documents and Settings\>user name<\
Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

Also, check the recycle bin in case he
accidentally deleted them.

Maybe the following free software can
help recover the files from the memory
card.

PC Inspector Smart Recovery
