I uploaded my photogallery and it looks fine. Thumbnail too excpet when I
click on thumbnail, the photo is not there. Getting confused, in the old
frontpage, it created two photos. Orginal and thumbnail. Yes I uploaded the
folder with photogallery in it.

I have the main photo in an image folder in my web. so the url is
\image\html page\photo.

Sincerely
Tracie

Did you IMport all your images into FP first...before creating the
photogallery?

no, I had made an image folder and imported from that but I am reading
between the lines and will do what you are asking. If this does not work I
am going to try JAlbum which folks are talking about.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply, I appreciate it.

Sorry, I may have misunderstood your op.

I just re-read your post. It sounds like you used a third party gallery to
create your album(?)
If you are you would generate your album outside of FP into a folder outside
of your web, then import that entire folder into your FP web.

Is this what you are doing?

Hi Rob
I have an image folder with all of my images in it on my harddrive. Then I
created my frontpage website, then the photogallery on a page and imported
the image from my image folder. The thumbnail works but the orginal photo
never shows up when I publish my website. If you go to my main site some of
the links are not working but I am working on those.

almost.

resize and optimize the images you intend to use in your photogaller
first...do this outside of FP in whatever folder you choose to keep them in.
I highly recommend resizing your big image to the size you want displayed as
the big image...don't worry about making thumbs, fp will do that.

Now;
Open FP
File | Open Site
File | Import all the images you intend to use in your FP gallery - put
them in a folder in FP ( usually use sub folders within the Images folder)
Create your gallery on whatever page you want then use your images you
Imported - the ones now inside of FP.

Now...all that being said; FP galleries, especially the Slide Show are
quirky.

hth,
Rob
