Can't see a changelog anywhere. Still freeware.
http://www.photofiltre.com/

- Accès direct à l'explorateur / Rafraîchissement via la touche F5
- Correction de bugs

Here's what Babel Fish translated the changelog to from French:

- direct Access to l explorator/Cooling via the F5 key
- Correction of bugs

So, now we know that IE has Cooling, which I've long suspected. ;)

Yea, but there's a place in the help (click the "?") for a key. Wonder
what marvelous features appear when you enter a key?

I did notice the download is 200Kb smaller than the previous version.
About the key: First thought was that is was for registration for
commercial use.
But on the site these lines are 'removed':
"PhotoFiltre is free for a private, non commercial or educational use
(including non-profit organizations).
In this case, registration is not necessary. Commercial or professional use
requires a registration."

And this line is at the bottom:
"The commercial and professional uses are not authorized !"

Strange thing, but I'm sure some of the translators will shine their light
on it soon.

As Rod said..
on the 'News' page..

"The commercial and professional uses of PhotoFiltre are not
authorized !
(except for users with registration key) "

As one of the few key ownwes of photofiltre, I can assure you the key
doesn't do anything except showing your name in the about box (shocking
huh?)

As long as I know photofiltre is had a registration item in the help menu.
When it still was allowed, I bought a licence key for my 'mega corporation
;-)'
About 2 or 3 months after this, the commercial use was discontinued.
When I asked Antonio about this, he was very reticant about the reason.
I must say, I have my speculations, but I don't think it will help anyone if
I gosip them.

At the moment, Photofiltre may be used commercially *only* by those who
already have purchased a key.
New keys are not generated/sold.

As for the rumored shareware version:
This will be a a seperate program. Its main focus will be layers, but wil
also have some other additions.
The program will only be aviale as shareware, but afaik, the old photofiltre
wil also reamin for the freeware fanatics, like us. (Well, I guess I'll be
buying the shareware version, but that is a topic for an other newsgroup
;-) )

Thank you for your explanation. Makes sense to go shareware for commercial
users when your probably skilled enough to quit your daytime job. Too bad
this probably means Photofiltre is going to be discontinued.
But these are just assumptions.
