PhotoEditor Security Issue

Hi,

I have a PC running Win2k pro. I have created a user and
put her in the built-In "Users" group. She is unable to
view image files with Microsoft Photo-Editor. When she
tries, she gets a series of the following errors - "No
file format information can be found in the
Registry", "Unknown File Format", and "PhotoEditor
cannot find or open C:\temp\filename.jpg".

I think this is a security issue, because if I log on as
an administrator, I have no problem looking at images in
PhotoEditor. I'd like to limit the rights of the "Users"
group as much as possible for security purposes, but I do
want my "Users" to be able to look at images in
PhotoEditor. Can anyone tell me what I have to do to
give them this right?

Thanks,
Paul

I'm not sure if this will work, but you can try going to
the directory of PHOTOED.exe, go to properties for the
*.exe and edit the permissions. Perhaps giving your "user"
full control of this program would alleviate your problems.
